2. Services

We currently offer:

• The Nervous System Reset Lab – a 60-minute live online group experience that includes:
  • guided breath exercises, and
  • nervous system education and reflection.

The NSR Lab is an educational and experiential service focused on general nervous system and breathwork practices. It is not:

• individual counselling or psychotherapy,
• medical or psychiatric treatment,
• or emergency / crisis support.

3. Eligibility

By using our Site or booking the NSR Lab, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.

If you are under 18, please do not use this Site or book our services.

4. Booking & Payments

• All bookings for the NSR Lab must be completed through our booking and payment process as shown on the Site.
• Payment is typically processed via Stripe or another secure payment processor.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when booking.

5. Pricing & Currency

• Unless otherwise stated, all prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
• We may update our pricing at any time. Changes do not affect bookings already made.

6. Refunds, Cancellations & Rescheduling

Our refund and rescheduling rules for NSR Lab bookings are outlined in a separate Refund & Cancellation Policy. By booking, you agree to that policy.

In summary (non-exhaustive):

• The NSR Lab is generally non-refundable.
• You may request a reschedule at least 24 hours before your booked session, subject to availability.
• Where recordings are made and offered, a recording of the relevant NSR Lab session will be provided after 7 days of the NSR Lab week.
• No-shows are typically not eligible for refund or automatic credit.

7. Behaviour & Conduct

To keep the NSR Lab safe and respectful for all participants, you agree that you will:

• Join from a quiet, private space as much as possible.
• Treat other participants and the facilitator with respect and care.
• Not record, screenshot, or distribute any part of the live session without explicit written permission.
• Not share Zoom links, access details, or any participant information with others.

We reserve the right to remove any participant from the Lab or refuse future access if their behaviour is disruptive, harmful, or violates these Terms. In such cases, no refund is guaranteed.

8. Health, Safety & Disclaimers

The NSR Lab is not a substitute for:

• professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment,
• mental health or psychiatric care,
• or crisis or emergency services.

By participating, you agree that:

• You are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing during and after the Lab.
• You will listen to your body and stop or modify any practice that feels unsafe, overwhelming, or inappropriate.
• If you have a medical or mental health condition, are pregnant, or have concerns about breathwork or nervous system practices, you will consult your doctor or healthcare provider before participating.
• If you are in immediate distress, crisis, or feel unsafe, please contact your local emergency services or crisis line instead of attending this Lab.

We do not guarantee any specific outcomes, results, or changes. Any benefits described are examples of what some people experience.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the NSR Lab or your use of the Site.
• You participate in all practices at your own risk.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Intellectual Property

All content we provide through the Site and the NSR Lab – including written materials, visuals, guided practices, and frameworks – is the intellectual property of Tara Rinke Counselling / WithinBreath (unless stated otherwise).

You agree not to:

• copy, reproduce, distribute, or share our content publicly,
• create your own programs based directly on our materials,

without our prior written permission.

11. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

If you have an issue with your payment, experience, or booking:

• Please email us first at [email protected] so we have a chance to understand and resolve it.

If you initiate a payment dispute or chargeback without contacting us:

• We reserve the right to revoke access to current and future Labs or services, and
• Work with our payment processor to provide evidence of the services provided.

12. Changes to Services or Terms

• We may change, pause, or discontinue the NSR Lab or other offerings, and/or
• Update these Terms from time to time.

When we update these Terms, we will change the “Effective date” at the top. Continuing to use the Site or book services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our services will be handled in the courts located in British Columbia, Canada, unless otherwise required by local law.
